Blue C Advertising’s Jeff Bentley Named 2009 “Creative Director of the Year”

picture-1NEWPORT BEACH, CA (March 30, 2009) – Capping off a year of innovation that cut a dynamic path across a wide spectrum of diverse industries and business initiatives, Blue C Advertising announces today that agency Principal and Co-Founder Jeff Bentley was recently honored as the 2009 “Creative Director of the Year” by the Orange County Ad Federation. Bentley, who also serves as the agency’s Creative Director, is the first recipient of the award as the Federation introduced new, individual categories in time for this year’s voting.

In order to qualify for the award, Blue C was required to submit individual case studies demonstrating Bentley’s unique talent in creative excellence, campaign strategy and overall execution in a wide variety of campaigns. Judges reviewed Bentley’s distinctive vision that spans a diverse group of national and local clients including: Kawasaki, Toyota, Scion Accessories, Monster Energy, Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC),The Irvine Company / Rental, The District at Tustin Legacy, Alpine Electronics, and Sycuan Resort. Not limited to one discipline of advertising, the OC Ad Federation considered Bentley’s creative footprint on national, local, business-to-business, broadcast, consumer based brands, direct response, collateral, promotional and outdoor executions.

Despite the growth and success of Blue C, Bentley, who co-founded the agency in 1998 with co-principal Eric Morley, remains true to his creative roots. Not simply content to bypass his advertising talents in favor of managing day-to-day operations, the 2009 award winner remains the organization’s Creative Director.
